Located 14 km northeast of the city centre, Pursaklar occupies a strategic position along the main protocol boulevard connecting the capital to Esenboğa International Airport.
The district is anchored by the Kuzey Yıldızı Recreation Park—boasting vast landscaped gardens, ponds, and an open-air amphitheater—and the monumental North Ankara Mosque and Cultural Complex.
Pursaklar is also a dedicated center for the protection, breeding, and international registration of the purebred white, odd-eyed Ankara Cat (Angora Cat).
