Gençlik Park
Ankara's historic 1943 urban park in Ulus, featuring an expansive central lake, amusement fairground, city theatres, and evening light shows.
Located in Ulus between the Central Railway Station and the State Opera House, Gençlik Park was opened on May 19, 1943, as the defining urban park of Republican Ankara.
Spanning 275,000 m², it encompasses a vast boating lake with choreographed light-and-music fountain shows, a classic amusement funfair, lakeside cafes, and the Capital Municipal Theatres.
