Victory monument crowning Duatepe in Polatlı, the first strategic summit recaptured by the Turkish Army during the Battle of Sakarya.

Situated northwest of Polatlı, Duatepe was the first strategic hill recaptured from advancing forces during the Battle of Sakarya. On September 10, 1921, Commander-in-Chief Mustafa Kemal Pasha directed the decisive counter-offensive from this hill.

The hilltop monument depicts Mustafa Kemal Pasha alongside commanders İsmet İnönü and Fevzi Çakmak guiding charging infantry soldiers, offering commanding views across the entire historic battlefield.

In the tourism master plan

Under the Sakarya Battle Historic Area Project, Duatepe and the Mangaldağ trenches are planned as an open-air re-enactment and AR/VR experience center.
