Ankara Children's Council, established in 1994 to enable young delegates to participate in municipal policy-making.
Founded in 1994, this is Turkey's first democratic municipal children's assembly.
Elected young delegates debate civic issues, propose urban improvements, and represent children’s rights in municipal governance.
