Kurşunlu Han
15th-century Ottoman caravanserai built by Grand Vizier Mahmut Pasha, now housing the administrative and research wings of the Anatolian Civilizations Museum.
Situated on the southern slopes of Ankara Castle adjacent to the Mahmut Pasha Bedesten, Kurşunlu Han was erected between 1467 and 1470 by Grand Vizier Mahmut Pasha during the reign of Mehmed the Conqueror.
Featuring a spacious arcaded courtyard and lead-covered domes (hence the name 'Lead Han'), it was thoroughly restored and integrated into the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations as its library, conference hall, and administrative centre.
